Trump and Power: A Deep Divide Across America Explored in DW Documentary
Überblick
This documentary examines the profound cultural and political divide in the United States during the first year of Donald Trump's second presidential term. By contrasting the perspectives of residents in liberal Washington, D.C., where federal workers and activists fear for their jobs and democratic norms, with the hopeful outlook of working-class residents in the impoverished coal country of Appalachia, the film highlights two vastly different American realities.
