Southern Railway services reintroduced across Sussex after weather-related speed restrictions

Southern Railway is reinstating several services across its Sussex network on Monday following previous speed restrictions caused by hot and dry weather affecting track conditions. Off-peak services between Eastbourne/Ore and London Victoria, as well as specific peak services on the Uckfield and Littlehampton/Bognor Regis lines, are being brought back. Network Rail states that maintenance work is ongoing to return the Uckfield line to a full service from early November.
