Cadet security boosted at Crowborough site used to house asylum seekers
Überblick
Work has begun to erect security fences around two Ministry of Defence buildings used by cadets at the Crowborough Training Camp in East Sussex. The site, which began housing up to 540 asylum seekers in January under plans spanning until 2030, forced cadets to leave last December. Funded by the Home Office, the new fencing will allow cadets to safely resume activities and parades on parts of the site.
