Hastings line passengers advised to plan ahead for nine-day engineering closure in October

Rail passengers travelling between Tonbridge and Wadhurst are being urged to plan ahead as the track is scheduled to close for nine days from 24 October to 1 November for essential improvement works. Network Rail is replacing worn slab track inside Grove Hill Tunnel south of Tunbridge Wells, alongside maintenance at several other locations. Replacement buses will operate, and tickets will be accepted on alternative routes.
